Free cell phones

Want a free cell phone with free phone service for your business? Stay tuned, EOD can help.
In search of more info. on the "bear hunting excursion" (see post below) we called the County Commissioner's Office and asked for Commissioner Mike Johnson's (county paid) cell phone number. We were told by the county clerk that she was not authorized to give out these phone numbers. What?
The clerk was able to give us Com. Johnson's home phone and his work phone number. When Johnson's work number was called, we received a message from Johnson saving he "did not receive any voice mails on his work phone. We don't know who pays for his work phone. Johnson then directs you to call another number, which turns out to be his county commissioner cellphone and leave your message there. Duhhhh ???
EOD called County Manager Bobby Outten about the matter. Outten confirmed Johnson's county tax paid cellphone number as being the number we got from Johnson's work phone response? Confused? Well, hear this.
We asked Outten if he thought it was proper for county commissioners to withhold their county paid cell phone numbers from taxpayers, and then use that phone for personal business use. Outten's response was, "well, it's not costing the taxpayers anything." Duhh..????
Outten said the county was given so many free phones and phone numbers in it's package...so Johnson's phone was free.
EOD's advice .....Call your County Commissioners and tell them you want one of those free phones. You might even get them to advertise your business on the county website...FOR FREE.
