Reading Blogs

I just played "Mr. Uppity-Up" and suggested to one of my favorite blogs that he/she think about being sure the reader can see the lead story/post when they first click on the site without having to scroll down the page.  It saves a lot of reader time.  Not all of us like to use RSS feeds, etc..

Any reasonable suggestions anyone would like to make about the EOD blog is welcomed.  Right now, we just throw it against the wall and hope it sticks...nothing too fancy here..

And, please don't say..."shut it down"....we're having too much fun for that.

I am impressed with EOD and some of the other local news blogs these days (excluding Topix, which is a cesspool!).

Glad to see that we have such technology and info available in Dare Co. It is an excellent conduit to current events for we residents.

I also tell my clients about the better blogs so they can keep abreast of local issues.

Keep up the good work, EOD!

Just start a local Forum (vBulletin or similar). You can use your Blog as a Thread Topic.

You can have many sub-topic areas, County, specific Towns etc etc), a guest area Blog, and will all be searchable.

As much as I like your blog, you cannot bump up old topics, and to find one older than a couple weeks, you have to scroll and search.

A forum style would be ideal.

hey Ray,

do you want a new format/template? Something magazine-ish/2010 like OB Voice is using?

I'll crank one out for ya, cost you a few beers, that's it.

email me at crashbiggs@hotmail.com
