Well, La De Da!

Well, La De Da,
While the Southern Shores Town Council is preparing to lay a 43% tax hike on ALL town residents, mostly to help finance road paving capital improvement projects, it seems an elite group of property owners over on (south) Fairway Drive have decided to pave their own street.

And, it is "their own street", according to a spokesperson at town hall. Well, we just say, "La De Da."
And, "what's the cost of living on (south) Fairway Drive these days?", we might ask. But, we won't.
We had already heard that section of the street had "their own property owners association", but assumed it was one of those snooty type situations where not everyone on the street wanted to join in. So, we say, "La De Da" again.

I'll bet they did it better and more cost-efficient than any government agency can do. Any idea what the cost was per square foot versus what the city gets charged?

Ok.... So these homeowners decided to pave "their street". I figured you'd be happy Ray? I mean, those slovenly government workers don't have to do it now, right?
