In my opinion, Woodard is the biggest narcissist in the County.

I used to attend Town Hall meetings in the early days of Woodard.....When he was still a Virginia resident.

I finally stopped going when it was apparent that he was going to repeat EVERYTHING he said 3 or 4 times.

At first I thought that maybe he thought that everyone in the room was just stupid, but then I figured out that he repeated himself so he could hear himself talk more.

KDH Res: from your description Woodard sounds like the perfect candidate!

If Woodard finds some way to win the County election, at least he will be off the KDH board.

They should make a rule stating that if you run for another office while you currently hold a seat, you should have to give up that seat. Or, if you lose in the new election, you should still have to give up the other seat.

It seems as though just because he is not a part of the majority vote anymore, he wants to TRY and move on.

BYE!

Hmmm.... if Woodard wins and goes to the County does that mean that the new KDH board will then have to appoint a new member??

Doesn't make sense to me that Woodard even ran for the KDH board if he knew all along he had intentions of running for the county seat. Evidently Buske was considering it too.

I don't understand that, why would you let yourself get elected to one board when you knew you already had ambitions to run for another office?

To Anonymous @ 7:27---If you are employed and apply for another job, do you give up the position you have without knowing if you will be hired for the new job? That's just plain stupid!

To Curious George---Yes, if Woodard wins, the KDH BOC would have to appoint another member. Apparently Woodard & Buske were not considering running for a county seat when they last ran for office in KDH nearly two years ago.

No, I wouldn't leave a job before being accepted to another. But, I wouldn’t run for an elected position and then leave midterm.

Once I gave my word to the voters that I would serve a full term in office, I wouldn't go back on my promise.

It does not matter that Woodard was not considering running for the county seat two years ago.

The fact is, he ran for office, he won and should keep his seat for two years.

He is just showing that as soon as something does not go his way, he is ready to jump ship.

He is a quitter, plain and simple.

There's no way Woodard would get re-elected. If he wants to stay in politics, this may be his only option.
